Good news for applicants with a diploma/degree in electronics, electrical, or mechanical engineering. The Northern Coalfields Limited, a mini Ratna and a subsidiary of Coal India Limited, invites online applications for Assistant Foreman. Applicants with minimum education qualifications may apply for this post online from the NCL Career Portal. The NCL Assistant Foreman Recruitment application starts on January 15, 2024 onwards.

The authority conducts a written examination to shortlist the applicants, and they will deployed in mines located in Madhya Pradesh (Singraluli District) and in Uttar Pradesh’s Sonbhadra district. Under Grade C, the shortlisted applicants will get a basic pay of 47330.25 per month.

Age Limit

On the crucial date, i.e. 5 February 2024, the minimum and maximum age of the applicants is 18 and 30 years, respectively. However, some age relaxation in the upper age limit applicable for reserved categories.

NCL Recruitment Selection Procedure

Selection for the posts shall be made by conducting a recruitment test. Applicants who met the eligibility conditions on the important date were invited to take the test in the notified exam centre. The exam paper is divided into sections A and B, which carry 70 and 30 marks, respectively. It is a bilingual exam (English and Hindi) which comprises 100 marks. Applicants must complete their examination within the given duration, which is 90 minutes. For each correct answer, 1 mark is awarded, and there is no penalty for wrong answers.
