Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024 Notification Soon; Typing test added for clerk posts

Indian Army is all set to release its much-awaited notification of the year, known as Army Agniveer Recruitment. To be part of the Indian Army is the dream of many youths, and to fulfil their dream, the Indian Army will invite applications for Agniveer Recruitment. Applicants who have passed 8th, 10th and Intermediate are eligible to apply (depending on the category), but their age should be less than 21 years.

As such, the notification for Army Agniveer is not released for any recruiting zone, but we may expect it to be out in January 2024. On its availability, applicants may submit their agniveer application form online by paying a nominal examination fee of Rs 250 directly from joinindianarmy.nic.in. New Update: Along with CEE, the Army Agniveer Clerk/SKT posts applicants will appear for the Typing test.

Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024 Notification

Fulfilling the eligibility conditions for the Indian Army is the prime factor of selection; if you miss any conditions, you can’t apply for the posts. The minimum age limit to apply for the Agniveer Bharti is 17 ^1/2 years. In addition, they also fulfil the education and physical standard criteria, the details of which are provided in the upcoming section.

As per the Indian Army Act 1950, the agniveer will be enrolled for 4 years and be awarded a distinct rank from the existing one. To recruit these agniveers, authorities will organise a two-stage recruitment process: a written examination and a recruitment rally. On completion of the 4-year services, an opportunity to apply for permanent enrollment will be offered. Based on the performance, only 25% of agniveers will be selected for permanent enrollment.

Eligibility Criteria for Indian Army Agniveer Recruitment 2024

Serving the Indian Army is not easy, and only applicants who satisfy the eligibility conditions set by the Army recruitment board will be preferred. The eligibility conditions for each category are different because there are different categories under which the agniveer is recruited. Here, we have detailed the Army Agniveer Eligibility for each of them. Have a look.

Note: To Apply for any of the categories mentioned below, the applicant’s age should be between 17^1/2 and 21 Years.

Army Agniveer (General Duty) (All Arms)

• They must have passed 10th/matric with 45% in aggregate and 33% marks in each subject.

Army Agniveer (Tech) (All Arms)

• Intermediate Science Students (PCME) with aggregated 50% and 40% in each subject are eligible. OR

• Intermediate Science Students (PCME) from any recognised central or state board, including NIOS, have done a one-year ITI course in the relevant field, securing NSQF Level 4 or above. OR

• 10th Pass students with 50% in aggregate and 40% in each English maths and science subject along with two years of Technical Training from ITI or have a 2/3 year diploma from a recognised institution, including Polytechnic in the relevant stream/trades notified.

Agniveer Clerk / Store Keeper Technical (All Arms)

Intermediate pass in any stream, securing 60% aggregate and 50% in each subject. Also, it is mandatory to have 50% marks in English and Accounts/Maths/Book Keeping. Along with this, they should be efficient in typing.

Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 10th pass

10th Pass applicants securing 33% marks in each subject

Agniveer Tradesmen (All Arms) 8th pass

8th Pass applicants securing 33% marks in each subject.

Agniveer (General Duty) Women in Corps of Military Police

10th Pass with 45% marks in aggregate and 33% in each subject are eligible for this post.

Documents Required

Before that, applicants must keep some of their documents ready in scanned format in the given size format.

Online Registration

• New Users need to register on the portal, and for this, they need to tap on the “User Registration“, whose link will be available at joinindianarmy.nic.in.

• Applicants may register by providing an Aadhar number and other basic details like mobile number, name, and email ID.

• Once the registration process is completed, the authority will generate a Registration number and password whose details are shared through Email ID and SMS (so make sure the details submitted are correct and belong to the user only).

• Registration is mandatory for all, whereas those who have already registered may log in with their details and proceed.

• Applicants may log in to the portal by providing the login details received during registration.

• Once you log in, the applicant’s dashboard will appear.

Pay Scale of Army Agniveer

All the benefits agniveer are entitled to are given by the Indian Army, like a basic Pay of 30,000, which increases gradually to 40,000 at the end of 4th year. Apart from this, the medical and CSD facilities will be provided during the job period. All basic allowances that are to be paid will be provided. A corpus of 10.04 lakh as Seva Nidhi Package will be given once they complete their duration. In the image given below you will get the details distribution of salary.
