Sainik School Admission 2021-Eligibility

Age Limit

Given Below the age criteria for admission in sainik school (AISSEE) for the session 2020-21. Candidate have to match the age criteria As on 31 March, 2021.

• CLASS 6 – Minimum 10 yrs maximum 12 yrs candidate not born Before/After (01 April 2009 to 31 March 2011). Note: The age limit is same for girls.
• CLASS 9 -Minimum 13 yrs maximum 15 yrs candidate not born Before/After (01 April 2006 to 31 March 2008). Note: Girls can not apply for 9th class.

Sainik School Qualifying Marks 2021

Passing Marks for class 6th and class 9th.

1. Students have to score 25% in each subject if he is from General Category.
2. Students have to score an overall 40% if he is from General Category.
3. No passing marks for the students who are from SC/ST. They will be admitted on the basis of inter-se-merit.
4. Students apply for class 6th in AISSEE will be given +3 marks for each correct answer in mathematics section and +2 marks for the remaining section.
5. Students apply for class 9th in AISSEE will be given +4 marks for each correct answer in mathematics section and +2 marks for other sections.
6. Candidates DON’T have to pay any PENALTY for their incorrect responses.

Sainik School AISSEE 2021- Selection Procedure

AISSEE admission 2021 consists of two stages i.e. The first is written test in MCQs form and the second is the medical exam. Students who apply for the AISSEE entrance exam for class 6th & 9th appear for written examination and after the declaration of result, they called for a medical test.
