OSSC Recruitment 2024 Open for JEO and Junior Accountant – Here is how to Apply @ossc.gov.in

Odisha Staff Selection Commission has started the online application procedure for junior enforcement officers and junior accountants. Eligible applicants may submit their application online from osssc.gov.in before its closing date, February 15, 2024.

Applicants may also make changes to their submitted application form by February 20, 2024. Selection for the posts is done by a two-stage selection process. If any details are found incorrect at any stage of the OSSC recruitment, then the candidates is liable for rejection without issuing any notice.

In the interest of the applicants, applications must be reached before the given date and time because the portal may face server error or technical failure in the last few hours. Any changes or new announcements will be made via a separate notice.

The Odisha Staff Selection Authority advertised a recruitment notification for 31 vacant posts. These posts will be filled for JEO under the director of municipal administration, housing, and urban development department, whereas Junior Accountant under the controller legal metrology, FS & CW department of Odisha.

OSSC Recruitment Selection Procedure

The recruitment process for the posts consists of 1) a Preliminary Examination and 2) a Main Examination.

Prelims Exam: Currently, the preliminary examination is on a stand-by mode. If the authority receives more than 9000 application then only they conduct its prelims exam. The authority shares the details of the examination later.

Mains Examination: Based on the performance in the prelims examination, authority shortlist around 6 times the number of advertised for mains examination. The Main exam will be worth 200 marks, and it consists of Language (Odia and English), General Studies, Computer Skills, and General Studies.
