Eligibility Criteria for Jharkhand Police Constable

Age: the minimum and maximum age of the applicants is 18 and 25 years respectively. The minimum and maximum age will be considered as of 1 August 2023 and 1 September 2019 respectively.

Education Qualification; Applicants who have completed their high school are eligible for the post.

After the completion of PMT, the applicants will undergo the PET where they have to run a certain distance in the given period.

Jharkhand Police Constable Selection Process

It is a three-stage recruitment examination, applicants who have applied for the posts will sequentially undergo a selection process as described below. It is to be understood that, on failing any of the stages the applicants will not be considered for further stages.

• First, the applicants call for the Physical measurement test, where their fitness is measured by various means.
• On qualifying for the PET Stage, the shortlisted applicants further call for the medical examination.
• At last, the applicant’s basic education is tested and for this, a written exam is conducted at a selected examination centre on its prescribed date and time.
