It isn’t possible to give one rank to both candidates so that’s why we have a tie-breaking process which is observed on the basis of the following points.
- The candidate who scores more marks than another candidate in biology is preferred first.
- Afterward, the candidate who scores more marks in chemistry is preferred first.
- If both the candidates have equal marks in these subjects, then the candidate will be preferred on the basis of negative marking and incorrect answers. Those who will have fewer wrong points will be preferred first.
- At last, the candidates who will be older than the other candidate in age will be preferred first.
