The Department of Commerce was established during the academic year 1969-70. The Department has been extending its faculty services by sharing teaching work of M.F.M/ B.Tech/MCA/M.Sc. (Physics) courses in the subject s of Accounting & Finance Management, Organizational Behavior & Personnel Management. So far, 86 Ph.D. and 107 M.Phil. degrees have been awarded and 37 research students are presently working. Further 8 research projects were completed. The faculty of the Department have published 11 books and 213 Research papers. The Department has organized 4 conferences/seminars.
